Ko Putahi te maunga, Wairoro te awa, Ngatokimatawhaorua te waka, Nga Puhi me Te Aupouri oku iwi, Ngati Whakaeke me Ngati Tautahi oku hapu, ko Raewyn Kapa ahau.
Tena tatou katoa. I created Te Rito: Restoration of Whanau Forum in May 2016 in response to parent issues and systemic abuse I experienced that has an illegitimate impact on Family law proceedings for fairness, lawful and rightful justice for families and children.
It is a separate kaupapa Maori forum to organizations of the same naming, though relative in context to "Te Rito:New Zealand Family Violence Prevention Strategy, Ministry of Social Development, February 2002". I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Anthropology and Maori Studies from the University of Auckland, studies in law and human resource management from the University of Waikato and a National Diploma in Business Administration from Best Pacific Institute of Education, Auckland. Te Rito:Restoration of Whanau Forum aims to rectify and implement fairness, justice and development for parents, whanau and families for their children. Maybe our heightend increase in family and domestic violence has not seen a decrease for such a reason of ethical exclusions on many a level. Reclaiming our kaupapa and methodology being integral in achieving our own solutions and our own remedies within our own set of accountabilities. Nga mihi nui.
